Got beat last night
There is a new intersection with a light at the bottom of a fairly steep long hill that has become a local drag strip. It seems that whenever I am at the light, another car or truck or whatever pulls up beside me and always wants to show me their stuff going over the hill. I have only been beat one time by a kid in a hopped up ricer and it was very close. BTW,,, this is in my TE. Last night another car did me in pretty good. It was my wife
 in her 400E,,, I should have known better.

I got depressed when I got beaten as well....
Well, I was in my wagon, and my boss was in his CLS.... (AMG tuned that is) Anyways, I got him off the line, as he was on his cell phone. Then I just hear the glorious sound of 5.5 liters with forced induction. I heard the whine of the supercharger, and he was gone.... It is suprising though. I was able to give my bosses wifes ML500 a run for its money in my moms ML320... That was quite funny!

I beat her off the line but around 2nd gear she came flying by,,, and it was all her idea.

ahhhh a trip down memory lane. In my younger days I had a 68' MGB and quite often a guy would come up next to me at a light, rev the engine and off we'd go, sometimes I would win. Then I found it funnier to be at a light ,guy pulls up next to me, he'd rev, I'd rev and when the light turned green he'd gun it like a bat out of hell and I'd just accelerate (sp) normally....tee hee...
