So I think I'm going to be transferring schools next semester...
The school I am currently attending significantly cut my financial aid, which is the biggest reason I came here. So now that I am paying quite a bit more for college whether I go here or somewhere else, I am really wanting to go to a school of my choice. Anyways, I wanted to see if anyone knows anything about any of these schools that I am looking at or can offer any insight into wasing the transfer process. I hope to have my applications everywhere finalized by this Friday. I have the applications done including the essays, but am having my oldest brother read them over this evening in Utah. Tomorrow I am hoping to ask two of my profs if they would write me a letter of recommendation, well actually it is an evaluation form they fill out then mail to the schools. Anyways, here's my list in order of preference:
Boston College (good chance I won't get in, but I would LOVE to go here) Stonehill College (about 40 minutes outside of Boston) College of the Holy Cross (about 50 minutes outside of Boston) Emmanuel College (Boston, MA) Loyola College (in Baltimore) Hillsdale College (Hillsdale, MI) Cornell College (in Iowa, not the ivy) Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI) Loyola University of Chicago I am just curious to see if you guys have any experience what so ever with any of these schools or what you may have heard about any of them. I would really like to go to school in Boston, especially Boston College, but if I don't get in there I would like another school in the area. Emmanuel is actually in Boston, but it does not seem to be as good of a school as Holy Cross or Stonehill. Anyways, just let me know what you guys think. Thanks David
