One of those "phishing" hoaxes. Even when the e-mail looks exactly like an official e-mail from your bank, don't click on it or answer it.

I keep getting e-mails from Hancock Bank, and I've never had an account with them.

It's phishing, you can tell because they didn't use your name (just "Dear customer") They are just trying to get into your bank account so they can loot it.

This is a daily occurance with emails like that coming from purported ebay and paypal senders also. "Question from buyer, unusual activity on your account, your account has been suspended, etc.)

In those cases you simply forward them to spoof@ebay.com and spoof@paypal.com

Were the misspellings yours or theirs? It amazes me how phishers will send stuff like that out full of misspelling and gramatical errors. Of course, I see that on resumes and cover letters that come in all the time, too. I suppose a lot of folks wouldn't even notice the errors.
