I get 750 down, 300 up connected to cable, through the VPN at work. I'll have to try it when I'm disconnected.

well we are temporaily on T1 while the tower gets repaired.. got struck by lightening, then the crane operator nocked the tower throwing it out of calibration or something

Download Speed: 480 kbps (60 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 131 kbps (16.4 KB/sec transfer rate)

First time I tried it, the download was 468.... Closest to me is Atlanta.

3350 kbps download, 1150 kbps upload, using the Dallas server.

Tried this at work.

I'll try this at home as well...I seem to have marginally better speed there...

Tried again at work and got 3396 and 1296, respectively...

Optimum, well plus it was going to the NY server. Everything is fast around her lots of traffic, all the cables are fiber optic. I consider my connection to be average. The ones at school and work are much faster.

Download Speed: 6150 kbps (768.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 1785 kbps (223.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

Lose a lot hooking up to Seatle.

iwrock 01-08-2007 03:19 AM

BUMP!!!

Down Speed: 11591 Kbps or 11.6 Mbps (1415 kB/s)
Up Speed: 363 Kbps or 0.4 Mbps (44 kB/s)

Down is good, but up sucks...

I have Comcast, but the connection likes to drop...

mplafleur 01-08-2007 08:56 AM

Here it is at work. Thought it would have been faster...

Work:
Download Speed: 2993 kbps (374.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 2671 kbps (333.9 KB/sec transfer rate)

MedMech 01-08-2007 09:34 AM

FYI

A t1 is only 1.5 mb/s.

I would not call that slow, I would kill for that connection! I can get that download me speed but 1785 upstream would cost me mucho grande.
