Why is dyslexia not an easier word to spell?
Why do people think that pushing the elevator button repeatedly will make the elevator appear faster, or close the doors sooner? Why do people think that inching up at a red light, will convince the red light to change sooner?

actually, on some elevators, leaning on a floor button can make the doors close (much like the door close button). Give that tip to your wives and daughters as it is a security tip for elevators with no door close button. And at some traffic intersections, pulling up (or sometimes back) may help. if the car is not positioned over the sensor in the pavement, the controls may not know the light needs to change for a waiting car. Near my home there is an intersection that everyone stops past the sensor so as to turn right on red when clear. Trouble is, at some times of day the traffic is pretty constant. and since they have pulled way past the sensor, the system doesn't really know they are there. Thus they have to wait for the long cycle, or until someone pulls up behind them and is over the sensor.

Well, a great deal of these conundrums can be dismissed easily, but far be it for me to do so.Many are so simplistic that it doesn't require the brilliance of a "waste management proffessional"to decode...........
