Sounds like a fun night. I've only ever had deer out of that list, I think maybe moose, but never elk, pheasant or caribou.

I have been pumping the water down all day so I may be able to avoid the hangover.

What do Elk, Caribou, Pheasant, Deer, Moose taste like? Chicken?
Hope you have a great time and hope your head doesn't hurt too bad in the morning.

Elk is by far my favorite meat:
Then Moose Beef Venison Pheasant/upland Duck Wild Turkey The only chicken or turkey I like is KFC or Drunken Chicken, once your taste buds grasp free range meat farm grown stuff is rather plain. |

It can be old, sometimes, like Edwardian elk, Victorian venison, etc.

Since you're probably already enjoying the feast, I'll raise a troubling fact. A few years ago some Wisconsin men who frequented such feast contracted Mad Cow Disease. The last hypothesis I read attributed it to wasting disease in the deer or elk they consumed.

I am back from dinner and man it was the best dinner party I have ever been to. The owner of the brewery calls me the wagon master because I organized a pheasant hunt that gravitated to something we are going to do on a monthly basis.

Webberville wouldn't be so bad if I was still living in Brighton, but now I'm 25 miles more toward Canada. Still, it's probably still about an hour away. Shoot, it took me 1-1/2 hour to get to work the other day.
I'd do that for wild game. I've had deer, pheasant, duck, goose, muskrat, and buffalo. But it's been a looong time. Woops, probably a private thing...

GREAT!!! What a fine meal and time you had. We have lost something in this Country, maybe a part of out Past, when these Dinners were abundant, not too long ago. Many of the Lodges and Organizations like The Moose, VFW, American Legion, Elks, Masons, etc., still provide them here in Michigan. Open to the Public. They are Great Fun, like you said. They are simpler and not as elaborate as your banquet.

Ya'll check your local Ducks Unlimited chapter if you like these things--the ones in my state have them several times per year as fund raisers, and your ticket gets you a chance to win guns and artwork, ect.....
