In eighth grade we had an art teacher, in retrospect she would have been in her early 20's, who was pretty wild in the way she dressed and acted (this was the mid-70's, different times, I suppose). She gave private art lessons to some of the kids on the side (private school, I don't know if that's allowed - or needed, given the higher teaching pay - in public school). One of my good friends took lessons from her, and continued to for the next two or three years when we moved on to high school. Sometime in our sophomore year, he started sleeping with her, and that continued for a year or so. We didn't believe him until we saw the nude photos (he still has those, he developed them himself in the photo lab at our high school, he was on the yearbook staff). At the time we thought he was the luckiest guy in the world, I still don't believe it harmed him in any way. I don't think his parents ever found out. Now, that would be fodder for Leno jokes, it just didn't seem that outrageous then.

No boink'n here. There weren't any babe teachers in my school.
But we had a science teacher who also had a brother in a neighboring town who was also a science teacher. One of them was boink'n one of the girls in his class. They ended up getting married. A few years ago I found out that his brother was caught boink'n one of the girls in his class. Last I heard he married her and left the state.

it is not about consent to me.
it is about the trust that is placed with teachers. kindof like a lawyer stealing from an estate trust. if he does that he loses his right to be a lawyer, right? teachers abusing the trust placed in them risk the same thing. now once they graduate and reach the age of consent, ok. next question is what about a teacher in a different school district boinking an 18 year old. legal. probably wouldnt lose the job either. tom w

i wouldn't exactly call it boinking (sounds kinda 8th grade-ish to me) but i did have a fling with a couple teachers. Nothing any of you would want to hear about though.
