I had an insurance carrier that wanted to charge more for lawyers.

The company said that as a group, we lawyers are too aggressive, too wound up, too confrontational and like to drive fast red cars.

Now, anyone who knows me knows that I am none of the above.

Go figure!

I pay $150 a month for my cars, no collison, so $1800 per year.

Collision for someone my age, yeah that would be like another $2k-$3k on top of that!

Insurance companies rape you, I know people with a few accidents that pay $5k a year.

I did, I am getting the best price. Our agent is good I should be paying $500-$1k more per year.

Pshew, better than $2k-$3k. Problem with full coverage is the (rip off) insurance companies would say your car is only worth $1500. if it gets totalled. Whereas you might have been able to sell it on the open market for $6000.
