I never heard of one of those, did you buy it from a MB dealer by chance?

MB is good at keeping track of their cars, I'll give them that.

Hmmm, have owned a few (see sig) and have never received any kind of communication from MBUSA. Wonder how they know about yours but not mine?

Did you buy it from the dealer?

I got a card on the one-year anniversary of the 2002 C320 wagon we bought our oldest daughter.

I thought it was nice.

Did not get one for any of my other Benzes.

Benz also sent me a nice leather wallet and a key chain for buying the C320.

And VW sent us a Rabbit t-shirt after we bought the Rabbit for daughter #2.

The only one that has sent nothing is Volvo. We bought daughter #3 a V70 wagon and we got zilch (except a very nice wagon).

I guess the Germans are trying harder.

How do you like your "new" Benz? The W126 is a great car.

It sounds like MB puts as much thought into marketing and promotion as they do into engineering.

Some of the Swiss companies whose watches I have bought (new) send me Swiss chocolates, hats, and stuff like that for Christmas. I was pretty impressed by that. It does make you feel good about their products.

Hats???

You have got to take a picture of yourself wearing one of those hats and post it here.

Okay. I have two Breitling hats. Pretty snappy-looking, too!

Yeah, and having a little class doesn't really cost that much or require that much effort. I'm surprised more manufacturers don't try that approach.
