Quick thinking bartender and barmaid foil date rape drugging attempt

Hoot mon laddie!! It gave me vigor to read this tale, I'm tellin' ya!!

http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2007/03/20/MNG0UOOA1I1.DTL

Some pea-brain was on a date that was going really well according the waitress/barmaid who noted that the lady's body language was "mmm... take me..." but then she spotted the dim-bulb putting some powder in his date's beer while she was in the can.

Bang, pow, you're busted *********.

What a retard! Talk about a serious lack of self-confidence.

Awesome--thanks for the post. I checked out a restaurant one time for a person who claimed to have been slipped a drug by the bartender, who didn't know she didn't come there to hook up but was waiting for her husband. Unfortunately, she waited a few days before taking any action and a meaningful date couldn't be established to connect the ingestion with that particular restaurant.

Everytime I see that Max Factor heir on TV I want to hurt him. What kind of man.....never mind

Ahh,A Germanophile! Ever read Erich Kastner?

There's a line in one of his poems that goes"where others had a soul she had a hole"

Unfortunately I don´t remember that much, I´d have to read again.

I also read Ephraim Kishon. A Master of Satire. I loved his writing, I still do.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ephraim_Kishon

During World War II the Nazis imprisoned him in several concentration camps. At one camp his chess talent helped him survive as the camp commandant was looking for an opponent. In another camp the Germans lined up the inmates shooting every tenth person, passing him by. He later wrote in his book The Scapegoat, "They made a mistake—they left one satirist alive."

It is not so much about lack of self-confidence it is about wanting to control the victim and fulfilling some weird fetish.

I've prosecuted men who have taped themselves repeatedly raping women under the influence of GHB.

Not a pretty sight!

Cmac--welcome back, where were you hiding you old Berkeley commie?

You must be referring about Andrew Luster.

He is not going to be free anytime soon.

I saw the MSNBC story on the Max Factor heir. I'm with you. What ugly cowardice. Exceeded only by his 20 watt bulb-edness.
