How do you not insult and keep a religious friend?
One of my friends is always trying to send me little emails about how I have to follow the 10 commandments and how I have to learn the real "truth" not my version or opinion of such.
I always reply with my opionions which if you follow the "truth" are no subject to scrutiny, so I am always contrary. I always kept my opinions to myself as it was never my intent to cause her any doubt in her beliefs. Live and let live I always say. However, she has lately picked it up a notch telling me I am arrogant and stubborn for not listening to her way of thinking or even having the nerve to challenge her beliefs, that her way is the only way. How do you deal with a person like that, without insulting them or losing the friendship? For the record, she is my wife's best friend not mine, but we are close. I tell her that her job as a follower is to grow the flock, my job as a friend is to let her be, not to dissuade her. She constantly tells me and my wife that she is "worried" about us and our salvation. I think she's a crackpot! ????????????????????? ![]()
