Use a proxy for email anonymity these guys can be killers.

I had one bait where my character was going to wire $2,000,000 but the guy declined the wire and wanted the character to fly his super exclusive private jet to Nigeria to hand him the cash in person. As the bait went on it became apparent that the sole intention the scammer was to kidnap and kill my character.

I would want to kill the guy as well after 3 trips to airports across his country and at least 10 failed wire attempts and about 300 minutes on the phone which cost him at least $2.00 minute which totals more than the average yearly wage of a nigerian.

Antonio Montana and his personal assistant Lotta Fagina have a few deals going with Nigerians as we speak.

I have a bait that has been running for more than two years I think I am close to driving the guy to insanity.
