Yeah I've seen all those videos. Those rollerskis are very hard to use. You will likely get very hurt if you haven't skied before. I'll let you know when the next rollerski clinic comes along.

We can start you out. There's this guy in the Netherlands who started rollerskiing without ever having to get on snow.

Helmet, elbow and kneepads to start. There's also the kind of rollerski you use on limestone trails. Falling on a softer surface is more forgiving, somewhat.

whats the differance between roller ski's and roller blades, seems like they would both have the same effect....

Rollerskis have two wheels, they're made to mimic snow speed so they're a lot slower than rollerblades, and they have no brakes.

My 2 cents. I was a recreational runner in my 20's.

I'm now 55. I replaced 1 hip last September and am scheduled for the other this September.

I think there may be better non-impact ways of getting as much exercise.
