I'm not sure, the solution I have now works, I use a WinXP machine with IIS 5.1 to receive all mail, which is placed in a drop directory, then I have a script I wrote go through the .eml files and edit the destination addresses, and then move the file to Exchange's pickup directory. There seems to be a catch all solution for Exchange07 now, but I have not had the time to learn the API and write the required plugin.

Well, I can't say that programming Sendmail to do this job is trivial, but the problem has been solved (very long ago) with that package. Learning the Exchange 7 API may be easier.
The only problem with the way you're doing it is that you are relying on a file format which may go away. MS loves to change things like this; but that problem may be a long time in coming, if it even does. |
