My new bird-dog,and other ephemera....

Well! far be it for me to merit such attention as my own post, but I suppose that's the penalty that comes with being a crabby misanthrope...............

Anyway I've been busy raising a new pup, since I need a new bird dog.

This dusky-hued fellow is only 3 months old, cross between a Weimaraner ***** and a male Lab,sort of an experiment to breed an upland bird dog capable of handling the largest Turkeys and Honkers with the versatility and maneuverability of a Weimaraner in the brush country, very good disposition but quite a nipper.

The bottom pic is self-explanatory..........

Carleton: a man after my heart; bird dogs; exotic cars; drinks and *****es.

How is the Aston? A neighbor has a nice blue DB7, I have not met him but I would like to approach him and take it for a spin, I think that he will bite since the exotic community here is so small and I am told he knows who I am so I may have a chance.

Precisely.Let me state categorically that I did NOT own it,I didn't even stay in a cheap motel!{now where did I hear THAT before} but the commission enabled me to further my passion for pre-29 Sportscars.

Very fast, nearly flawless handling but some oversteer at speed.

Noisy mill, sloppy build quality, the aluminium grille seems as though it was made from that gutter screen roll stuff.

Poor fit and finish, stupid, cheap plastic body parts showing signs already of shrinkage and settling, equally arrant electrics, but some folks love'em so who am I to argue with the "expert"who wishes to buy one?

Well,thanks...Useful enough on occasion but it can't help the arthritis nor the cardiac problems so don't think I'm lolling on Mount Olympus drinking wine and twanging my zither whilst tender, wet young maidens minister to my most ardent desires.

So, would you say this is the canine equivalent of the G55 AMG?
