If you hate the parks like me you can drink, fish, and hang at the beach.

FL is very flat with lots of old people and Orange tree's.

The Basspro shops store is freaken awsome, its a must see!

Just don't mess with the alligators. Even if they look dead, they really aren't.

We tried to go in Kennedy Space Center but were too late. May be worth a visit.

If you like to stuff yourself with Lobster, there are several AYCE Lobster places there - one of them is on International drive, close to the upside down building. (I am allergic to them, but a fellow member claims to have eaten over 10!).

The highest point in FL is 345ft above sea level, FL is flat. I'm probably that high sitting on my little hill looking out on the sound up here in CT.

345' is pretty high, compared to my 11'.
Some people in Florida are so high, they get dry mouth.

For a good cup of coffee: http://www.badasscoffeeorlando.com/
I stop there for a cup every time I go up there. It is on International Drive as well. As a matter of fact, a lot of "stuff" is on I-drive - lots of stuff to see.

This site, should help as well. http://www.floridakiss.com/

Rent a boat and go see some wildlife. The St. Johns River runs through that part of Florida. It has a bunch of smaller rivers that run into it. When I was down there a few years ago, I rented a boat with a small outboard motor. Saw all kinds of cool birds, critters, and scenery. Kept my distance from the gaters.

Don't have much free time actually, we have a 5 day stay in a hotel, and park tickets for 3 days, I'm just trying to see what I can do on the free days (other than rest my feet )

3 day park tickets? heh....you're going to want to rest your feet!

If you are at a local hotel, check the TV - they usually have a tourist channel or two, plus a booklet or two. Sometimes they have decent coupons in there too.

You should check out this restaurant:

http://www.lecoqauvinrestaurant.com/

Simply the simplest, and the best.

Another of my favorite restaurants, but spendy, and only good with a date.

I visited my brother many times when he lived in south Florida. That was a FUN town. The clubs, the topless women on south beach, the slick rides, the food, the booze... what a trip.

I think this kid is underage, so nevermind.

I'm here now.. should have taken more biodiesel, fuel mileage was worse then expected... Got here this morning actually..but I didn't give in and pay $25 for 3 days of internet access until a few minutes ago... Tried sitting in the parking lot of a motel and using the free wireless there, but the heat got to me..
