Spending my birthday watching the snow fall and listening to Ed complain about doctors and hospitals - and following each and every complaint talking about how much he appreciates everything the nurses are doing for him. Thrilled that he's improved to the point that he's complaining!

Waiting on word from my sister that niece Kelley has been retrieved...... fingers (and everything else) crossed until then.

Marveling at the wonder that is Darling Wife and her ability to work doctors/nurses/social workers/government agencies/each and every available (and some newly invented) resources available to take care of Ed. Same thing she did with Ma, except it's all new again because of differences in Ed's situation.

Sending massive kudos Chickie's way for stepping up (again) to care for the zoo while me and Darling Wife hang out here with Ed. And for not complaining too much even though one of the canines apparently pee'd on her in her sleep last night .

Life is good in spite of the chaos, and I'm a lucky guy.

Happy Birfday Ramonajim.....Meanwhile, I am waiting for a skyload of snow to drop rumor has it 5 to 8 inches....I'm thinking more like 4 which is a lot for here.

More frikkin' snow! Early dismissal for the kids and who knows what tomorrow holds.

Now I fancy myself as a pretty hardy New Englander. I do thoroughly enjoy all four seasons that we're lucky enough to experience.

But I've really grown tired of the white stuff at this point!

Think Spring!

No where near enough functioning brain cells at this moment - need direct, concise, monosyllabic type instructions :P

Enjoying my new kitty from the rescue. Picked her up saturday her name is Isabella Rose. Flamepoint Himalayan, 8 months old. Came from a rough place, breeder out of control. She spent the first part of her life in a cage with little human contact and no clean litter box.....she is getting along really well with my other rescue cats, Nelson and Stasia. Here are some pics.
