Please see if you can keep the snow up there, would you?

had a final exam at 8 am.. which only lasted 30 minutes out of the 120 allowed.. and now I am waiting until 12:30 for my last final of the semester.

I sold my books back to the school.. I was like.. meh... and got $110 for two books. I kept my math book.. it might be useful

Funny man, I talked to a friend of mine last night who lives in Torrington and he was telling me about his "death defying" drive home the other night because of the snow and ice.

There must be something about Wednesday's and computer problems in my space of the universe, I await the Server God to wave his magic wand over my server and put me back in bidness as they say. Everyone out there- have a great Wednesday and keep on truckin!

Torrington is just northwest enough where they usually get nailed by the stuff that usually misses me in the middle of the state. That ice stuff sucked, although it is purty to look at! I'll take snow any day.

RE: your reoccuring computer problems: Does it have anything to do with the three Mojito lunches on Wed.? ;)

Kick ass on that exam... Keep the book?? You'll be sorry when all those 10 lb "reference" books accumulate and you have to move. :)

I remember saving some of my text books. I don't think any of them we EVER cracked once I was out of school. It's funny how dramatically one's priorities can change as one moves on from one stage of life to the next . . .

Damn, it's cold here. Got down to 25 up around Napa, and it's close to freezing in the Bay area. (oh, I'm an a$$ all right)

Doing a job today that's way below my skill level and preference -- putting in a nat. gas line for a fireplace faux log burner. I like the old gal I'm doing it for, a quintessential aging hippie widow. I put in a skylight for her a while back and she referred me for a nice $$job with a friend, so I'm happy to get dirty in her crawl space and twist black pipe together.

With my long-johns on. ;)

That just sounds SO wrong.

Fun. Interesting. But wrong .

I ordered a used lsd from an 87 190 16v today which I plan to adapt somehow into my 280e autocrosser. Along with a few other tweaks I should be terrorizing the mustangs in ESP scca autocrosses next year!

That does sound sorta off, don't it? :D Oh and uh, the lady is a sweetie but she's way past the babe phase.

Well, I've been in worse crawl spaces, like those where you can barely make it under floor joists here and there. This one at least had black plastic over the whole thing but it's an old house and there's a fine layer of dust everywhere. I wore my respirator after the first time down.

You'd be amazed what a good workout it is crawling through those places. You really feel it in your shoulders and arms the next day.

Actually, a journeyman plumber is way ABOVE my skill level, soldering copper on new construction is kinda fun but a lot of other plumbing work is not so appealing. I've got a buddy who is making $$$ doing radiant floor heating, that might be a specialty to look into.

Amazing how people around here are *****ing about it. Jeez, no ice on the roads, ever, except maybe one or two early mornings once every 3rd or 4th year.

It often gets up in the 60s even 70s during the winter and yet people still whine about a 33 degree night.
