Most of us have Lambo's, correct?? We should start a Lambo mini-forum. :P

Odo stopped working ??. The worn seat belts, pedals and seats tell me it's more of a 100k mile car. Crappy new top, partially repainted.

That's a bummer, especially for a $12K Euro. The boss is on me for an SL, which surprised me, but anything to keep her happy and help me nurture my, admittedly newfound, MB habit. I figure since I'll "have to" drive it occassionally, it'll have to be a V8. Although it's still a bonus check or two away from reality.

If it had records, I'd seriously consider it and dump the S600. Oh well...

Speaking of dumping...I've really got to get my Wrangler cleaned up and ready to sell. I still have my wife's old '99 Grand Caravan parked in the lot here at work (much to my father's chagrin) too, that I need to clean out and get ready to sell as a mechanic's special (needs a trans. amongst other things that I don't feel like dealing with). Certainly not an S600's worth of money sitting there, but a healthy chunk that I could certainly use for some other vices.

If you get the car cleaned up well, a few hrs of time can add another couple hundred to the car. So many people sell cars with dull paint and trashed interiors. A good clean can seal the deal. :)

That SL I just looked at has palamino interior, so the rugs and carpets were really dirty. If you're too dainty to clean it, spend $150 and have a detailer go over it. What I saw made me laugh out loud. Lazy seller=someone who may not perform proper maint.

Congrats!

I've been walking in the morning since I retired from the paper delivery business and made slight dietary changes (light beer over good beer :P). In a month, I'm down a tick over 5 lbs. 35 to go  I'd really like to get to 240 and a little less Homer Simpsonish. Well, if Homer were completely hairless and wore glasses :smart:

Other than that, this week has been fairly busy. The northeast is bone dry, lawns and sportfields are dying and grass seed sales are on the rise.:grim:

Swamp, try the Atkins diet. I lost 40 lbs in about 6 months and never felt like I was missing anything. I gave up beer, but fortunately scotch has zero carbs!

What a horrible day, worst one yet. I beginning to think buying this biz was a mistake. Did I mention people who have long careers in the car biz are ass holes??

Dee, my wife and I did Atkins a couple years ago and I did drop damn near 40 lbs. in an insanely short period of time. It really is amazing how fast that can work! Unfortunately that low point was about a month or two before she got pregnant again and I put the sympathy pounds back on :) I'm really trying to get myself into some semblence of an exercise routine. I run around work all day when we're busy, but that's hardly enough. I figure I'll have a better chance at keeping the pounds off if I do a little exercise and watch what I eat a little more.

As I continue to spiral towards 40 I've become a bit more conscious ;)

That sucks, man. Customers or employees? It's probably of little consolation, but warehouse "lifers" aren't much better and require constant babysitting. It's like running a frikkin' daycare here.

Don't lose the weight again unless you want #5. :D
