My saving grace is that the little guy has been such a PITA that she wouldn't dream of another one. He is a cute little guy, though. But she and I have both said if he were our first, he'd be our only! 13 mos. and he still won't sleep for more than a few hours at a time, very clingy for mom only, whiny. But he puts on quite the show in public with his laughing, giggling and goofy antics. Nobody believes us :)

Why am I not surprised by that answer? ;)

It's a combo of a narrow view of the world (ignorance), an unhealthy desire for money, very little self respect and throw in some passive agrgessive, maybe some heavy, consistent substance abuse. Realistically, 60% of the people I deal with are like this. Oh well... at least I have them figured out, took about a week. :wacky::rolleyes::D

One week and $700 later, W124 fails emissions for the SECOND time! Methinks its the cat ($$$$$). Indie thinks I need to take it out on the highway for a couple of days first and then have his guy retest...didn't fail by much but it did! :(

On the bright side, EGR and vacuum fixes has the car idling smooth as silk. At one point, while parked, I didn't even realize the engine was running!

Y'all can have the ignorance,desire for money and passive-agressive entitlement....I'll take the heavy substance abuse:D

I'm loving my vacation. The Ritz Carlton is terrific! San Francisco is the best. Woo hoo!

G- Before you spend another penny, try trying running two tanks of gas with the Bg additive- Johnhef gave me a few cans to run in my car and it did wonders and rumor has it, it helps with passing emmissions. PM him for the actual name.

Sounds interesting...unfortunately, I'm garaging it for now due to an awful noise coming from the rear hubs...sounds like bearings going south (figures)...

Bailing out of work early to head to the Big E with the wife sans the kiddies. The Big E is New England's big agricultural fair, it's the 4th or 5th largest in the country (but we need 6 states to do it :)). My mother is watching the kids when they get out of school so we can enjoy looking at all of the stuff the kids find boring.

I'll be sure to do plenty of walking to compensate for the temptations I'm not able to resist.

This week already seems like it has had about ten days in it.

The second longest week of the year is the week before vacation. The LONGEST week of the year is the week AFTER vacation!

Well, I'll be spending tomorrow and part of Friday out of my office, so that'll be nice.

a very nasty little type that lasts about 24 hours but really wrings you out. I avoided puking last night by taking antinausia medicine. Today I have spent most of the time sleeping. I feel like I just ran a marathon (not that I would actually know what that feels like).

I am going to go try to eat something and then take a nap.
