You must wake up in the morning wondering where the hell you are everyday. Of course, some of us do that even though we never left home . . . .

Bah. You haven't really pushed it until you go to mainland China for a two day visit.

Going to Atlanta for a two day visit is more than enough for me................:o

He bought those off someone on BenzWhirled who took them off his AMG SEC motor....

Got fitted for bifocal contacts today...took me forever to learn how to put those lenses in and out of my eyes...kept trying to jam them through my eye sockets!!

Wow! It's been at least five years since I've been able to go through life without those stupid glasses resting atop my nose! Try attaching a car amp upside down with glasses on!!!

Dee8go 07-03-2008 02:36 PM

Bifocal contacts?! I didn't know there was such a thing. How's that working out? I wear progressive lenses and I still can't see half the time. I'm all the time trying to find the "sweet spot" to look through to see whatever it is I'm trying to see.

That's what you get for bieng in the 1955 club. I know to well myself:D Think Mistress is in our club too ----think she is the oldest;)

While I dislike wearing glasses, I need them to give my face some features. :D Besides, without eyelashes I'd be getting crap in them all the time.

I must have missed this, Justin. Sure! If you run across some. Would they bolt right into an American, non-AMG? I'd like to redo my exhaust system at some point. That would be a nice start.

Happy Hump Day, all. I'll be humping double time again today with a factory rep all over my territory. He's a nice guy, and it's usually a good learning experience, but it's still rather stressful.

I always feel like I'm taking some sort of a test with these guys. It stirs up a lot of negative feelings from some other part of my life.

I hope your day is less stressful than mine will be!

You'll be fine Dee8go. Just try not to make him feel like his job is in jeopardy.:D

Trying to get through the CT unemployment application process.

Trying to not get totally and maniacally pi$$ed off that the highly lucrative (though annoyingly on the wrong coast) consulting gig I was supposed to start on Monday has vaporized.

Realizing that the two activities are not exactly well suited for concurrent execution :P

Really really really hoping that the unexpected interest in me from a local company (at a significantly higher level than I've been hunting) yields a job offer.

Sigh.

Anybody need a pushy, aggressive, get stuff done program management or operations senior manager/director?
