I would love to see the grill that would be able to cook that! Hog roast for 2,000 and you'll have some leftovers.:D

You'd have to serve it with a watermelon in its mouth instead of an apple.:D

Speaking of watermelon, have you ever "plugged" a watermelon with Vodka?

Chad300tdt 06-26-2008 09:07 AM

I haven't plugged one myself, but I've enjoyed a few picnics with spiked melon and jello shots. Delicious and fun.:D

My Gawd! How much did THAT thing weigh?! That looks more like a Rhino than a wild boar.

One of the best ways I have ever had that is we took a seedless, yellow fruit watermelon and carefully cut a plug out of it with an apple-corer. Then took a pint of Bacardi 151 and "screwed" it tight into the hole and inverted. It took a while, but when the bottle was drained things got crazy around the pool. It was excellent.

It wasn't a wild boar. The poor thing had just wandered out of captivity near by when the kid and his dad bagged it. Don't get me wrong, hog hunting is one of the funnest things out there, but that big guy was domesticated and incredibly slow moving. Even if they thought it was just a random giant hog, there was no reason to kill it.

I was just trying to imagine one of those charging me as I discovered my gun had jammed . . . . I've never hunted wild boar, but have a friend who hunts them in Arkansas. He's told me some wild stories about that.

I'm going to the Air and Space museum today.

Here's the finished lamp as requested.:D It's designed to match their home.

That is freakin' sweet Chad! It must be cool to have, like, a talent. :)

I going to have to contract you out for something.

Mistress 06-27-2008 07:23 AM

Chad- That lamp is beautiful, a work of art.

Chad300tdt 06-27-2008 07:46 AM

Thanks guys.:o

I just got back from dropping my wife off at her parents' house. They're traveling together to the wedding I mentioned. So it begins ... just me and the kids until Sunday evening. I don't remember the last time Raq was away for more than one night ... maybe 11 years or so:( I promised to make some blueberry pancakes with whipped cream for my son, so he's all excited and wants to help.:D

It does suck but you'll be fine. You seem to have your faculties in far better order than I and I can survive from time to time.

Just don't let them smell fear! ;)

There is simply nothing better than that. Keep it simple and enjoy the pure happiness that comes from being thrilled with the little stuff.

My son and I used to make pancakes for breakfast every Saturday morning. It was one of our Saturday rituals. I think he still does that. He's 31 now. Those are fond memories.
