auto dimming mirror wiring help

I got a cheap auto dimming mirror but I need help figuring out what car it came from. I can't make out an OE part number but it says Gentex on the shell. It has 3-pin and 2-pin connectors rather than the generic 6- or 8-pin connector. There are violet, blue/white and black/green wires out of the 3-pin connector and no wires out of the 2-pin connector. What's odd is there's an off-lo-hi slide switch rather than a soft touch on/off button. It doesn't have temp, compass or map light features.

Any thoughts on the original application of this mirror?

Thanks,
Sixto

Wire colors suggest it's out of a late model Dodge, maybe Intrepid or Durango.

Blue/white = switched +12V, black/green = ground, violet = signal that transmission is in reverse.

Still no idea about the other connector or switch positions.

It sounds as if the violet wire causes to mirror to eliminate the dimming feature while the vehicle is in Reverse. Presumably it's powered by the reverse light circuit.
