The motor in that is an all aluminum v6....pretty light, with the engine slung out behind the diff like a corvailr or porsche 911. Putting a big iron engine in there is asking for trouble, imho.
It is gonna wanna push at the limit anyway. Tom W

The Northstar is approximately 80 lbs. heavier than the PRV. Could be enough to give a problem.

I would go for that aluminum corvette motor before the caddy, I think.
I have a friend who has a caddy with that motor and it is using oil big time. It is the third caddy he has had with that motor and all have done this around 40 or 50K miles. I am not sure why he keeps buying them. Tom W
