We tend to think of Indians as bright since we see the ones who ARE bright enough to get the hell out of India and come here to work and learn. Point is that well over 50% of Indians are illiterate. The problem certainly exists in India, but then women who belong to educated class have more rights than other places, many women from middle and upper middle educated class opt for higher education, more so than other places, there are high powered women executives all over, the most powerful politicians in India with clout are women,one of them is a foreigner Catholic as well, show me one country which has that, don't see it in state of Israel where after Golda Meir, not one woman wields power in Israeli politics or cabinet. Women are used as commodity in west, when you parade them naked in strip joints and earn money off it or when a pimp or mafia sell them on streets to Johns, these are equally despicable act in today's day and age. Exploiting women and condeming them to postition of sex toys by putting their naked pics on mags is equally bad, no matter how you see it, sure there are women waiting to earn money and be explotied, thats their dumb brain just like the idiots in India who practice all the social ills. Sure India has huge problems, but its a sub continent with different races, religion and cultures of over 1 billion, and FYI, there is no differece between educated Indian either in India or US.
