American builds largest building in Asia......

That Addelson from Las Vegas (sp?) just opened the Macau Venitian. Largest building in Asia. Macau also has a Wynn property and an MGM Grand on the way. Go Team!

Maybe he can help turn the noveau riche middle class in China into a bunch of drunk gamblers and keep the Chinese at bay for a while, eh?

Speaking of impressive construction projects, have you seen the place they're building in Dubai? I think it's called The Palm or something like that. It is out in the water and is shaped like a plam tree.

Yes I have been kind of keeping up with that (island) because I am using an American engineering professor as an expert, who is a consulting geotechnical engineer on that project.

When I first saw it, my thought was, "I hope they don't have hurricanes in that neck of the desert!"

They're already like that, that's why the Venetian will do just fine. With the added Gucci, Chanel, LVL, Patek Phillippe etc. they'll get cleaned out.

China isn't going to attack. If you asked anyone in China if they would rather fight someone or work and make money guess which they would choose!
