weirdest issue a battery going bad has caused you?
On my audi a4, driving home last night, oil/temp/gas light all come on. Temp guage pegs itself, and the tach gets stuck at 4000rpm, and the speedo gets stuck at 70mph. The only guages working properly were the clock, the gear shift selection indicator, and the outside temp. Get the car home, disconnect and reconnect the battery, and all is well.
I'm thinking i have an alternator or battery going bad, i know what kind of havoc both of those can wreck on german car electronics..... So, what kind of stories you got, anything to top that?
