I don't feel well...car selling related
I came across a good deal on a 1990 740 turbo earliar this summer. Someone wanted to buy it a few months latter...I stated a price thiniing that it would make them back off...it worked for a while...but now they changed their mind and want it. My problem is that I should sell something...I have a 1988 Volvo 244 5 speed...33MPG...1984 Volvo 245 TI with positraction...the 1990 740 TI 1983 Mercedes 500SL AMG and the 1983 BMW633CSI. I just went for a drive throught the cournty with the Volvo and I really like that car, it's the only automatic that I have besides the SL. I hate to say it...Almost love my cars like people...I'm a sick sick man

So, I think that I might just say...that I can't sell after all. The buyer annoyed me in the first place and has folled me into work and has interupted be several times at work to ask me questions reguarding the car, though I have already stressed to them to call my cell phone. Also, I went to look at a '97 540il and The thing was knocking, the climate control was simply a maze and basically lead me to believe that cars reached their height during the early 90's and it has gone down hill from there.

Missing the Volvo.
It makes me heartsick when I think about the 1991 Volvo charcoal black 740 sedan with the tan leather seats, Borbet type E wheels, and books and records from mile zero and the Predelivery inspection, on it, that I donated away about 3 years ago. It was such a great little car.
I got a car later from the person who bought it at the Make-A-Wish Charity auction later, asking me about it. As far as I know it still is running today. I have a 1995 Subaru Outback wagon now (everyone around here has them, because sometimes there is winter snow, so you need the AWD) but try as I may, I can feel nothing for that car, as reliable as it is. It is really pretty good, and it is my first Japanese car. At the junkyard a couple of weeks ago, the yard had a complete, unrusty, running '90 Volvo 740 wagon, a nice dark red one, that was for sale for just $700. I really hated to have to pass it up. Great little cars. Keep your 740.
