It's silver, I don't know what the hell they actually call it though. I picked out the colors from the book/brochure/catalog of choices the dealer let me look through. He had a brochure book, and asked me to point out which items and colors I wanted. I picked out my steering wheel (Then he asked me if I wanted it heated or not), Paint color, and few other items, as well as the two toned interior colors....Silver exterior, with grey and black interior, minimal wood work, and my choice of 5 or six different style wheels. I pointed out the set I wanted, he put it all in the computer, I paid the man his deposite, and was on my way. I don't know the actual names of the colors, or materials. I don't even know the actual names of the colors on the vehicles I've owned for 17 years..the red one, the dark green one, the light green one, the silver ones (many of my vehicles are silver). So call them Choices, if you'd like, I call them options..It's just a matter of the person purchasing the vehicles particular decision.

Silver, with Charcoal (Dark Grey), and black interior...or do you call black midnight or something like that..?

Nick

The V12 and AMG cars usualy come pretty much loaded. I think even on the S600 their are only 2-3 actual options, the rest and just color choices.

This is true, but as I said, the options, or "choices" as some might like to call them, are not all the same, and some are on a waiting list. Don't know why, I suppose it's because they are not as "In demand" as some of the rest, and most people just take whatever the dealership has in stock. I would have probably done that also, but they didn't have any of the cars in stock at all, and the nearest one was like 700 miles away at a dealer in indiana, and it was in black. I was not going to have them ship me a car I would only be marginally happy with from that far away. So I ordered it the way I wanted it. Stupid to pay that much money and go through all of that trouble for a vehicle you can't stand to look at to begin with. I can't stand black vehicles of any type. They look OK to me, but I'd never own one.

Deffinately, I cannot wait to get this thing. I'm already working on a name for her, and I still have a long wait. Nameing a car, can be harder than you think sometimes. I suppose it will be easier once I spend a little bit of time behind the wheel and sort of "Get to know her". Nameing my vehicles, has always been something I've taken seriously, for some strange reason. Perhaps because in a name, comes a certain animation. Like a pet, or child...

I believe the name should reflect the attitude, or characteristics of the vehicle in a way.
