I'm kind of surprised that I really don't collect anything, other than a few coins here and there; since my mom seems to collect one or more of everything. Once a month, I have to tell her "No" to putting some of her stuff in my house. As it is, I already have a late 40's Philco fridge in my spare bedroom, because she has no place to put it.
Can't find a pic - but here is an ad of the same fridge.

Other than Mercedes, which since I am down to one I can't really claim to collect anymore...

Mercedes parts, I have the better part of a W126 in the basement.

Fishing gear, I have quite a few vintage rods and reels, mostly spinning. I love the Penn Green series reels, because I still use them! I also have a pretty good collection of vintage lures, actualy my fresh water tackle box is probably 1/2 made up of 30-50 year old top water lures. I find the older hand carved ones to be the most affective at getting bass out from under a dock. Plastic lures just don't have the same action. My go to lure was made right after WW2. I also enjoy collecting very, very expensive fly rods. Mostly from Orivs, and when I graduate from school I'm getting myself a Van Staal spinning real as a present.

Books, I love books, I'm slowly but surely building a personal library. As for topics it varies.

Also I have a decent and growing collection of anime DVD's and books FMA box set 1-51+movie and extra stuff is being added soon. Possible some IY, Bleach, and Code Geass as well

I'd like start collecting WW2 vintage weapons, after shooting my grandfathers carbine I am hooked. I find it really cool to actualy be able to shoot a gun that I have seen on say Band of Brothers so many times.

I also want to start collecting real estate ASAP. Working hard on that every freaken day.

We got to get Mr B in here, so we can find out what the synopsis of para-sociological behaviour, related to "collecting stuff", actually looks like ...

I had a backyard of early 80's Audi Coupe GT's for a while too. Fun and unique cars, if ya like fixing electrical issues
I bet all my old neighbors are glad I moved away

Really?
I have two 1960's era "Amano" side by sides, in my basement. Still keeping steaks and other things cold. Got one from Grandparents, and one from Aunt. They still work great, look great, and from what my grandfather told me, the one I got from him, has never even had a problem, or needed to be fixed. The one my Aunt gave me, is identical twin, bought at the same SEARS store, and has only had one service call by SEARS appliance service, for some sort of "Condenser" in about 1975.

They don't make them like they used to.

I've never considered my stocks, and bonds to be something I "Collect". Since you mentioned it however, I suppose I can call them a "collection" of sorts.

Just never even occured to me.... I also just remembered, I collect Money. Both American currency, and foreign, and especially, other peoples money. For financial, and entertainment/lifestyle reasons...LOL

Good one Joe

I have a small metal Fordson like yours. My dad used to tell about plowing with one as a kid. He said that grandpa liked them because of the big fenders which would keep them from flipping over the back. Where are your fenders?
