Ok, I May Have A Screw Loose, But....
The other day my girlfriend and I drove into the nearby town from where we live and we came across a person, well, lets just say that it was a guy that was dressed as a woman and with breasts. I started commenting that it takes b@lls to be running around this town like that. I live in the middle of nowhere in Guatemala, very macho men all about. Well with this comment, the girlfriend asked "does he have "b@lls?" I had no idea but the topic quickly changed to transsexuals. Men into the women. What does it look like and does it really work?
I tried to google this this morning and got lots of useless links about the religious and social issues involved but no concrete links to answer our curiousity on this. Now, I know that there are lots of people here with lots of idle time. Any links that you can share to kill this cat? Iggy

Ther's someone on this forum who makes her living photographing curiosities like this. Maybe she'll chime in.

It's just the opposite. If he had a pair he wouldn't be doing that. My uncle always said it takes huge huevos to drive a minivan, but my dad always said it took none at all! Of course there are those people born in the wrong body. They have all the equipment they should have, but want the opposite.

A friend of a friend did the sex change operation. It is my understanding there is taking of female hormones involved, breast implants and the construction of a female orifice using the sensitive parts of the male member.
It is all way too graphic for me to even imagine! So if the full boat operation was done.....no. No balls. Tom W

I have photographed a few "transgender" cases along the way from male to female and yes the equipment does "work" to a certain degree in that there is a vaginal canal complete with functioning orgasms.

First, thanks for the laughs! But I am serious here! Curiousity has gotten the better of us! QUESTION: Does it look like a real "vaginal canal"??? And by this I mean, could a close up pic be shown in Hustler and we not know the difference?

Well sometimes a baby is born with ambiguous genitalia. The docs make the easy decision of cutting off the ambiguous looking testicles and it turns out that person had "boy" hardwired into their DNA and they just don't feel right being a girl in society. Messes em up pretty good.
I think its the opposite of what you're talking about just it's jest an example.

A few years ago for a short time in San Francisco when I still lived there, I carpooled with an across the street neighbor who was a transsexual.
You can't live there comfortably in San Francisco without some degree of toleration of things like that, and this individual was reasonably forthcoming about their lifestyle. Actually it felt pretty creepy and uncomfortable to me, as hearing about it was something totally outside my penumbra of experiences, and I could have honestly done without it. The person in question drove a Honda Civic "Type R" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_reassignment_surgery

OK, thanks for all the replies. Yesterday evening the GF spent lots of time on the net and well, we answered our question. Thanks.
Jim B. - I know what you mean about San Francisco. I lived there for three years some 15 years ago. Before SanFran I lived in D.C. and yes for me there was a culture shock. I can tell you, that when I moved there, I met a beautiful woman at a friends' house, at a party. Asked her out and she came up with an excuse. From time to time, being the persistant one that I am, when I came across her, I would always ask her out. Finally, one night at a party, another, much buchier looking woman, came up to me and told me to stop asking her GF out. Well, it was then that I realized, yep, I am in San Francisco. I realized that before asking someone out you needed to ask their sexual orientation first. NEW ONE TO ME. But I loved that city, it truely is one of the best cities in the US. Iggy
