It reminds me of the time that an American company called Custom Cloud Motors produced a vehicle based on the early-Seventie's Chevy Monte Carlo, performing a little fiberglass work and grafting a Rolls-Royce like grille onto the front. It wasn't so bad of an effort, looking like something that Cruella DeVil would have driven. Rolls-Royce was a touch non-plussed and unleashed a few solicitors on the matter.

No trial,No Jail Time.Just dragged through the streets of Modena,chained to the bumper of a 25 year old Fiat(No Pollution Controls).So the populace ,egged on by Enzo's grandsons,can stone them at will. PaulC, They were just a little ahead of their time! Those Bling babies would go like crack pipes in some neighborhoods today. The reliability(?WTF?) of Chevrolet,with the cachet of carriage makers to HRH.

Steven Colbert had a bit on those the other night.
He gave a method to find the fakes. Take out your pen-knife and scrape a bit of paint just behind the hood ornament. If someone comes and beats the crap out of you, it's real.
