WASHINGTON (AP) - The Drug Enforcement Administration is losing more guns but fewer laptops than it was about five years ago, the Justice Department's inspector general said Friday.

Probably happens mostly in S.Florida. Those guys are real cowboys.
We have had one laptop get stolen from an airport and the amount of fuss that was made was incredible. It did not even have sensitive data on it. If the DEA treats its laptops like we do then the entire hard disk is encrypted and useless to anybody who steals the system. You would have to replace the disk to use the thing. Since we don't get issued guns (unfortunately) , I can't comment on those ![]()
