Yeah they have GE, and we have Subway.

Jack Welch used to live in Westport, my friend showed me his old house. I guess he used to do some charity work with his former wife.

His old house? What is it now, HER house? They got divorced, didn't they?

I've been looking, and it looks like there are a few affordable ones in the 330k range. The company is called Fuel Cell Energy, which I really like. I just have this sneaky feeling that even with my wife working, I'm not going to be able to do the things I want. Tennessee is looking better and better. Not that I don't want to get North, but I have to be able to live too. Thanks for the inputs from everyone up there... Tough decision for sure, and one I'm not going to make lightly. The job at Applied Materials in Fishkill that I should have taken keeps coming back to haunt me.

Tom, thanks. I almost forgot about that.. LOL Not to worry, I'd still come to the NOVA GTG's.. I need to tell Kevin, I may not make the 26th.. Something about a 380 SL.......

I guess we have a few years to go yet. I've been in this neighborhood 15 yrs, a few new people will talk to us but not the old guard. If they don't know your grandparents...

I got one old feller to wave at me a few years back. He'd be out for his morning walk and I'd give a little wave when I drove by. After a few weeks he gave me a nod, and a few weeks after that he actually waved back. Just a little one but it was definitely a wave. I think he died shortly thereafter, I never saw him much after that.

Stamford, Norwalk Top National List of Expensive Rentals

STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) -- A national survey shows that Stamford and Norwalk have the most expensive rents among metropolitan areas in the United States for the second year in a row.

The report by the National Low Income Housing Coalition found that the hourly wage required to afford a market-rate, two-bedroom apartment in the Stamford and Norwalk area is $31.58.

That figure is nearly double the national average and about five times the federal minimum wage of $5.85 an hour. It's four times the state's minimum wage of $7.65 an hour.

Connecticut as a whole required a wage of more than $20 per hour for a two-bedroom apartment, making it the seventh most expensive state.

Are you in the Society of Mayflower Descendants? I went to an incredible party when I was in HS at Stonington of 'Mayflowers. There seems to be large group of them there, but obviously more in Boston and on the Cape.

If you think it is bad up there, go to Charleston, SC or the West End of Richmond, VA and get back to me

(you would think ole Ted Turner would be able to join any yacht club he wanted.....)

Well they are both old parts of the country.

I remember a few years back Trump got pissed because he wanted to join a beach club in Newport and they wouldn't let him. The story goes they told him his money hadn't aged enough...

Their wasn't much in Milford 100 years ago so we don't really have that, go a bit further south though...

Sorry, there's no way I can live 60 miles from work. I lived 45, and didn't like it too much. Granted, there is more time with the Benz that way, but still.

.
Dan Quayle, Augusta National, Turner, Carolina Yacht Club, ect....too funny.

The best one I heard though was the Kennedys getting kicked out of the Beach Club at Osterville for Rose defying a bylaw and putting her bare feet up on a wicker coffee table in the men's grille area
