No, they are old alphnumeric plates (NOT personalized ones) that I was able to get for cars I used to own:

167JIM (off my 67 Cougar)

2JIM123 (off my 82 Crown Vic)

3JIM988 (off my 88 Crown Vic)

I dont think a gen II w126 would have the early AMG emblem- would it?

I think late 90's with the ///AMG look, sometime about when Mercedes Benz absorbed the AMG operation into it. Not sure of the exact year.

In earthquake country, homes are so mobile that they must be registered and plated as vehicles.
