Bob Aldredge, died last night. His girlfriend lives on the street behind my house and doesn't drive so I'm taking her to the funeral. I met him at a party a few years ago and he came to speak at our school. His wife, who died many years ago, was the person who discovered the spy ring at Los Alamos.
Never imagined I'd have any connection to one of the most momentous events in human history.
