TV Tuner for iMac
My kid just bought an iMac (24", 4g/500g memory) and is interested in viewing TV through her iMac. That's never been an interest of mine so I've never looked into it.
She has a job and so this is on her dime. Her dimes are very thin. Guide us. Bot |

That's not a bad price, Howie. Might have to buy one for my older iMac. Have you used it?
As I hijack my own thread .... Got any suggestions for an external inclosure for a hard drive from a G4 iBook? The demise of the iBook precipitated the purchase of the kid's iMac but the HD is still good and has lots of files worth recovering. B |

Elgato tuners are the best, and eyeTV 3 is stunning. Some of the generic TV tuner sticks for the PC will work with eyeTV 2 or 3. Some of the generic ones Elgato rebrands for their own. Most of the cost is the software.
