Cool event this weekend

This is up the street from me:
http://www.collingsfoundation.org/cf_openhouse2008.htm

Check out the classic and mini-car collections, in addition to the amazing historical aircraft collection. The Collings Foundation’s B-24J is the only restored flying B-24J in the world.

Open house this weekend!

So we went over to check this thing out this weekend. Wow. The car collection is incredible. I have a renewed respect for american cars. Really old ones, at least... including an american built 1927 Rolls Royce Phantom I that was built here in Springfield MA

Favorite car of the day however was the '36 Auburn Boat-Tail Speedster.

This picture isn't the one I saw- but it's the same car:

I think that Rolls was down here in Dallas last weekend for a car show in the park.

It's entirely possible; they keep some of their aircraft down there in Texas.
