And you're right TW, 16 feet + is way high for a lady. The coach who discovered her, a guy, jumped 16 1/2 feet for career best, but no doubt pole technology has gone up since then. He saw her playing B-ball with some men -- holding her own -- and asked her if she'd ever considered trying pole vault.

Haven't seen that pole vaulter, I'll have to look to see what all the fuss is about.

This lady is not the classic delicate beauty but then some lady athletes are not too babe-like at all and she's not in that class. I had a girlfriend back in the late 80s who was a landscaper -- she was built somewhat like this lady, not quite as strong, but her arms were similar. Oh man, that was some sexy action.
