No way!! I thought I was the only person ever that listens to Alphaville these days...

Love playing Sounds like a Melody in my W140...it sounds amazing. I recommend listening to Fallen Angel by Alphaville, and also check out Visage...another new wave band of that time.

As for the true classics...Haydn all the way.

Lol...I think I have more Depeche Mode Band-T's than I do socks! O_O

I saw them live in '06...I think the Speak and Spell album is my favorite.

Listen to "It's called a Heart".

Have any of you seen the videos from the re-releases? (So far I have all of them except for Ultra and Exciter)

I don't think I have seen those vids...don't worry about Ultra and Exciter tho, you're not missing much...(well in my opinion, anyway ) I'm partial to the older Depeche...like pre-1990.

Don't you mean Pre-1993 (I loved Songs Of Faith and Devotion) Funny thing is that with only a few exceptions, most music made after 1995 started to just plain suck (Too much corporate control)

Yeah Ultra was crap. "Home" and "Only When I Lost Myself" are great tracks.
Exciter isn't too bad but I usually have to be in a "darker" mood to listen to it all the way through.

You guys are cool for liking Depeche Mode. I used to go to some of the coolest "underground" clubs and listen to all their remixes.

Do you like a group called "The Cult"? An English band with a great singer by the name of Ian Astbury. Hard alternative rock.

This whole discussion brings up a very good question, by chance was anyone here at the Depeche Mode concert in the Rose Bowl?
