In Springfield, MO Going to OK City...Strange Situation

OK, here we go...I arrived today in Springfield, MO on a business trip. My one and only daughter who is going to gift me with another grandchild in Nov. is depressed because her mother which happens to be my ex wife of 25 years ago is down and out and can't go to FL to see and help with the grandchild. The ex wants to move to FL to be close and I've been asked to drive the moving truck. I would have to drive it from OK City to Jacksonville, FL. I have no feelings for the woman as it's been a long time. I don't want to see anyone on the street, so I'm thinking of driving the truck to FL at the end of the week and flying back to DC. I have mentioned it to the current wife of 15 years and as you can guess, she isn't thrilled. BTW, I'll be driving the truck and she will leave at a later date in her own car. Whatcha think about this one?
