Of course, there shouldn't be any, but that's what happens when people who understand the scientific method run against those who do not... and try to get elected by people in both camps.

It all made sense, basing a system of government and economy on, "From each according to their ability...". Rational. Scientific. Imagine how wonderful the world would be if we were to turn over running it to scientists.
