WHHHHAAAAAATTTTT! it's bad enough we lost George Carlin, Bernie Mac, Steve Fosse(t?) and Snoopy's voice this year but you want to end the strip as well?

Absolutely, it's hard enough for new talent to get column inches when they have to fight against the reruns of Peanuts. Time to clear the deadwood . . . and Dagwoods from the best part of most metropolitan newspapers.

My list of strips that have "jumped the shark" includes any where the original artist is deceased or where "substitute" artists, including kin, are drawing the strip. It also includes any where the characters are caught in a perpetual time warp and never grow up.

What about Gasoline Alley? It's on it's 3rd or 4th artist by now, and everyone's aging in real time. Walt's got to be 110 by now.
