Every once in a while someone does something truly amazing. This is it. A kit car is a challenge. A restoration is a challenge. Taking any car and modifying it until is no longer resembles the original is a challenge and takes talent. This guy is exceptionally talented and skilled. To build an entire car from SCRATCH is exceptionally difficult. To be able to hand craft not only body panels but also the entire frame, suspension, etc. is incredible. First rate. RT

I have a new idol. And getting away with running it in the basement! I get in trouble every time I start my boat up, outside!

A true automotive hero! Hats off to this gentleman.

wow, truly amazing. I know it took him 10 years but where do you find the time to build something like that. I mean look at it, it looks just like a countach.

I'm speechless. Just in awe of the guy's abilities.

Engine aside, the fit and finish is probably better than a real Lambo. But I'd have to hear Nik's comments first.

Now maybe he can turn that attention towards his house.

He did a great job.

I think he should have had the ramp made so the car could be driven out. Then he could install a speed drain at the foundation with a sump and put a garage door on it. He'd be able to continue keeping the car down there and maintenance it there too.

That is amazing. I can't imagine working with aluminum, what a pain! A 351C also seems kind of "rough" or a car like that. It kind of begs for a 12 cylinder.

I was always kind of attracted to those cars though, like the story says, because of "Cannonball Run".

My friend in Indianapolis is doing a similar project but with an aircraft rather than a car. He started in the basement, moved it to the garage and now it's in a dedicated shop. He's designing and fabbing nearly every part from scratch!

Yeah, where's that guy been? I don't recall seeing him on here for a while. At least I don't recall seeing him here under THAT name . . .

You never know, that might be the secret to a long and happy marriage - husband stays in the basement with his toy collection

KarTek, I agree with you - that 351 just sounds wrong. But it is a truly stupefying accomplishment.
