Lowrider was my first dog, a mini dachshund.
When I made the hotmail address for it, I needed a number for the end because what I wanted was taken. I used my old pager code (for those of you who were teens in the 90's) of 37. Since then, it's been habit for me to use it for everything.

Thanks for clearing that up. I have looked at your screen name a number of times trying to figure out where it might have come from.

Mine is too long and stupid of a story but here goes since most people probably think I'm an idiot with the username I have...

I've wrestled all my life. I still coach. I am an assistant wrestling coach at one of the best non-DI schools in the country.

Back when I was in college, my friends and I used to go play NTN Trivia at a bar on Sunday nights. They had $1 bottles of beer. When you play trivia you only get 6 letters for your handle. So I couldn't enter in GRAPPLER. I shortened it the best I could to GRAPLR.

When people reply to my messages, I often get G R A P I R since the lower case L looks like an I. When I used to play poker online many people figured it out and asked if I was an MMA fighter. (I'm not but many of the guys I wrestled with are or were)

The name/handle just kind of stuck for my online stuff. Stupid, I know since I'm not limited to 6 letters elsewhere, but oh well...
