Global warming is a hoax, the alarmists stories are falling apart daily and Al Gore has mysteriously disappeared... either way, Exxon is betting it will get blamed no matter what and is taking steps to minimize negative impact to the company. Smart move from a shareholder standpoint.

A good question would be to ask how does the money Exxon spends on think tanks compare to other companies????

Even exxon is accepting the harm we are doing.
But I think this is a ploy to make it the governments responsibility to collect taxes and clean up the mess.

Once agin the tax payer will be paying for Exxon profits.

Temperatures are going down. Life-giving CO2 is going up. Climates do change, and always have.

The same controllers own and operate the same Exxon. How about, they need the price of gas to go up again, thus create the problem as they have in the past by paying the Global warming yokels to protest, then say "see it's the environmentalists!" Only, they've learned a lesson: cut the middle man. We need to jack up the price to combat global warming ourselves. Essentially the same scam. Create a problem, wait for everyone react to it (or at least tell them what the reaction should be and why), then offer a solution.
