Kicked in the Doritos

I don't think I'll ever understand the rules of Japanese advertising.

Have you ever watched any of the Japanese gameshows on you tube? They're all about nut-crushing...

The best one I've seen is where they have a row of guys and each one has to say a tongue twister. If he messes it up, a arm comes out of the floor and whacks him in the jewels. The funniest guy is the last one because the anticipation builds as each one gets whacked!

That reminds me of the SNL skit with Chris Farley. He's an American tourist who has somehow gotten on a Japanese gameshow. They end up torturing him when he gets the answers wrong. It's great.

If ever there was a company appropriately named, it has to be...

T O U C H S T O N E

As you know, TOUCHSTONE is a film division of Disney...and all the movies THEY make/produce that are kid-friendly (go figure ) ALWAYS have the hero/guy getting his "stones" smashed by some flying/falling/swinging/puching object of some sort...trailers galore atest to the viewability of these shows for the young set...

Maybe the Japanese call them "Doritos" 'cause of the perceived "crunch" sound the "stones" make when they're being "tapped" ...

I agree that is one of my favorite Farley...I mean "Larry Templeton from Milwaukee, WI" sketches.

Alec Baldwin has to cut off his finger too.
