I clean EVERY CD I take out of the library.

May be overkill, but who knows what they have on them, and I'd rather not have it in my machines.

I reckon' that's a good idea. I never thought of borrowing CD's from the library.

It should be noted that you don't use a toothbrush with the toothpaste...

I use a microfiber wax applicator, apply a little TP and water then swipe side to side across the scratch. It's like polishing a scratch out of the finish on your car. Just don't wipe in circular patterns like G said.

The surface isnt what get's read.


aslong as you get a clear finish, it'll read. Usless you get some of the gold top layer scratched, then your SOL.


Bon Ami is the proper polish agent. Dollar stores usually stock it, works wonder os alumn also - mirror finishes...
