Hey man there's only one thing and one car that will do
Anyway we don't have to drive it honey, we can park it out in back
And have a party in your pink Cadillac
Crushed velvet seats
Riding in the back, oozing down the street
Waving to the girls
Feeling out of sight
Spending all my money on a Saturday night
Honey, I just wonder what you do there in back of your pink Cadillac
Yep, I thought of that song everytime we were riding in her car. It wasn't pink and the seats were leather, but it was king-sized!

And out of that list of things that were possible in the back seat, how many of them did you accomplish there?

Alas, none in there. She got rid of it shortly thereafter and bought a nice 126 instead.

Did you try out any of those thoughts in the 126? Come on. Don't keep us in suspense. Pictures, if you got them.

I would probably be banned from this forum if you could see how I treat my 1985 300D. It is my daily driver, but it is also a work vehicle at our farm. I removed the back seat so I could carry tools, tractor parts, and whatever. The car is mechanically sound. I replaced all of the suspension bushings, ball joints, shocks, etc. It cruises down the highway pretty as you please. I also change the oil every 3000 miles. The body's not horrible, although the paint is pretty much shot.

Great car. One of the best ever.
