I love that car, one of the most outrageous car designs of the seventies. Unfortunately the engine was not that much of a problem in comparison with the electronics witch were a nightmare, I can't see how they improved that with all those new gadgets.

And those wheels...

Good grief, that just screams out 1980s...Lagonda's were wild when they were new, but that design sure hasn't aged well. The windshield almost looks like flat glass.

I saw the late Evil Knievel's Chevy big block Lagonda go across the block at Barrett-Jackson. Even with the celebrity ownership, it only brought 35k.

His S600 fared much better

Ooof, you're not kidding! Almost looks like a kit car now.

I dunno... I like it. I do not like the wheels and all those screens are ridiculous. It is funny when the car came with CRT instrumentation that did not work, that there would be at least six screens in the car now...The design still looks good to me, but then I also like Subaru XT's, and Mazeradi BiTurbos

I guess sticking a Corvette engine in there is not such a bad thing. Replacing the 5.3 liter V8 (multiple carbs) and the Chrysler three speed TorqueFlite with modern stuff seems reasonable. Also ditching the balky CRT instrumentation in favor of the Vette instrument panel seems logical...

Still for 50k I can find better things to buy

I remember the first time I saw one of those - on I55 near McCormick place. It's dated, but a beautiful car in person. The picture does not help. Long and low. One of the cars I wish I had.

I like the design of the Maserati but I guess I'm a little biased because I own one of these . My 1986 blazing orange digital dashboard still works surprisingly. Probably can't design a wedge car anymore due to pedestrian safety anymore...

Never saw a XT3, but I did look for a while for a Subaru SVX. Still a good looking car.

Yes, but it won't have 20 televisions in it, something every car needs.
